A wondrful night was had by all at our Celebration of Egypt Night! Thank you to Ms. Bouve for spearheading this event and the rest of the School Climate Committee! Thank you, Thank you to Mrs. King for getting our cuisine donated, Mrs. Santiago for picking up all of our food and Mrs. Elrefaei for cooking the amazing dishes, they were delicious! A big Congratulations goes out to the students in grades 7th and 8th for their outstanding Science Fair Projects this year! We were so proud of the time and effort you put into these exemplar projects. A big thank you to Mrs. LeGrand for always making sure our students are well-informed and prepared for this extraordinary event at our school!
We are very excited to announce that STARLAB an inflatable planetarium from Yale University will be visiting our school for grades 3-6 on Wednesday, April 12th from 4:30-6:00p.m.. Enjoy looking at fabulous projects of Space Exploration that our 5th grade classes have prepared, look into high-powered telescopes,explore in the planetarium, learn about the phases of the moon and more!!! Each child must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate at this enjoyable free event.
Our Celebration of Ireland Night has been changed to this Wednesday, March 22nd from 4:15-5:30 due to last week's inclement weather. We hope you will join us for this fun event! There will be Irish games, crafts, food and history of this wonderful country!
Ross Woodward was very proud of all of the hard work and dedication our staff and students put into their outstanding Magnet Units! Our projects were on display at the Middle School Exhibit this past Monday and our school received many compliments on a job well done!
We are so proud of our fourth grade students and staff for their outstanding job at our Invention Convention. The children created inventions that showed what amazning critical thinkers they are! Each project was so unique and they were very creative!! Keep up the great work everyone!!!!
In honor of St. Patrick's Day we are celebrating the country of Ireland this month, Wednesday,March 15th from 4:15-5:30 p.m.!! Please join us for a night of delicious food, fun, history, games and crafts about Ireland!! A form will be coming home this week to sign up for this fabulous event!! We had such a successful evening with our Night At The Ross Woodward Museum!! Parents, Staff and Students were so proud of the work our Explorers had on display. The effort and hard work that went into each project, performance and presentation was above and beyond our expectations!!!
Keep up the great work everyone!!! We look forward to holding this event again in the Spring!!!!

The staff and students have been working diligently on their Magnet Units and can't wait to show them off to you!!
The festivities will be from 5-6:30 p.m., the entire building will have displays in all of the different hallways and classrooms.
